TICKER ALERTS

Ticker Alerts are flash notifications visible on the top right corner or the NeoTrader Application.

One can click on the flashed tickers to open the detailed list. The Ticker Alerts contains SYMBOL, TICKER TYPE and TIMEFRAME.

SYMBOL is acronym for the security as defined by NSE.

TICKER TYPE shows the alert that is visible on the charts. The ticker type can be variety of things related to Price and not related to any indicators or oscillators. These can be a Candlestick pattern (Doji, Engulfing, etc), Price Action or Range.

TIMEFRAME enables to understand the period in which particular Ticker type is generated. This will also lead us to know the implications of the ticker type. Time Frame can range between 30 Mins, 60 Mins, 1Day and 1Week.

The Ticker Alerts is an ongoing feature in NeoTrader that is alerting one about any specific price event visible on the charts. Thus, if a particular symbol has shown any important pattern, USER can benefit in multiple ways.

For e.g., if a Doji occurs and USER has a position, he / she can be in a cautious stage. Any adverse move in the stock will lead to exiting the position.
